Pineapple Pie Ingredients
2 tins of pineapple tidbits (800 gms each) 1 cup crushed corn flakes 1 cup grated coconut 1 cup finely chopped walnuts or nut of choice 4 tbsp self raising flour 115 gms margarine 3 tbsp sugar |
How to make Pineapple Pie
- Sift flour
- Add margarine
- Rub with finger to form coarse mixture like bread crumbs
- Mix in all ingredients except pineapple and set aside
- Transfer the drained pineapple tidbits to a buttered baking pan
- Spread crumbled mixture on top of the pineapple
- Bake in preheated oven with 180 degrees C until the top is golden brown
- Can be served with ice cream and cherries on top
